She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Geesing and Kathryn A. Geesing (Pennartz); her husband Robert B. James; her sons, Chuck James and Robert L. James; and her brother John R. Geesing.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Hettenbach (Mike) of Arkansas City and Ron James (Dee) of Ouray, CO; her sister Mary Lewis of Rapid City, SD; her grandchildren, Michael C. Hettenbach, Jeffrey Hettenbach (Rikki), Dusty Hettenbach, Nikole Stanfield (Brad), Kia Chandler (Josh), Steven James (Amanda) and Chuck James (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Morgan Boxman (David), Dylan Hettenbach, Allison Pinion, Ashton Hettenbach, Dacia Carter, Adalynn Hettenbach, Tala Chandler, James Chandler, Kyle James, Alyssa James and London James; and her pet Suzie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
