She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Johnson and Delores Johnson; her son Christopher H. Ellis; her husband Verliand K. Ellis; and her brother Ted Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Trisha E. Seal (Chris Seal); her grandchildren, Taylor Wilson, Taygen Wilson and Chessa Kammerer; her great grandchild Amara Wilson; and her sisters, Nancy Hutchens (Nick Hutchens) and Sandra McCormack (Jeff McCormack). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory (100 E Kansas Ave, Arkansas City, KS 67005). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Parker Cemetery (10189 292nd Rd, Arkansas City, KS 67005).
A memorial has been established for Gentiva Hospice, donations can be made through Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home.
