We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2021, at the age of 82, Sherrilyn Kay McConnell of Arkansas City, Kansas, born in Iola, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jennison and Wilma Jennison; her stepfather Bert Williams; and her grandson Brett Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Sherrilyn, Joyce and Janet; her son-in-law Robert Carlson; her grandchildren, Robert Jr., John and Cheryl; her friend Church; her husband Jim McConnell; her children, Robert Carlson (Melissa), John Carlson (Connie) and Cheryl Brand; and her siblings, George Williams of Tulsa, OK, Robert Williams of Moore, OK, Naomi Humble of Blackwell, OK, Joyce Forrest of Scammon, KS, Janet Flower of Columbus, KS and Rhonda Williams of Ojai, CA.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (BCFO) in care of the funeral home.
