She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Wales and Laura L. Wales (Onstott); her brother-in-law Steve Reed; and her parents-in-law, Claude and Ruth Reed.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Reed; her children, Robert Reed (Valerie) of Arkansas City, Carmen Jordan (Dave Hammond) of Arkansas City and Rebecca Hodges (Jeff) of Arkansas City; her brother Bill Wales (Helen) of Wichita; and her siblings-in-law, Kendall Reed (Peggy) of Pennsylvania and Gwen Bailey of Arkansas City. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Shepherd's Grace Church or the Cowley County Humane Society.
