With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Melvina Heilig of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Topper and Goldie Topper (Dust); her husband Luther Heilig; her son Lawrence Heilig; and her siblings, Benton, Abraham, Willie, Elmer, Junior, Keith and Rose Ramage.

She is survived by: her children, Virgil Heilig of Newkirk, Gary Heilig of Arkansas City, Melvin Heilig of Arkansas City and Wanda Musson (Jim) of Parkerfield. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established for the Shepherd's Grace Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
