He was predeceased by: his parents, Merla Gildhouse and Emma Gildhouse (Alexander); and his siblings, Lavinia Woods, Edgar Gildhouse, Lester Gildhouse, Billie Gildhouse and Helen Standlee.
He is survived by: his sister Rose Cross (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hackney Community Baptist Church or the Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church; donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
