He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Frank and Eleanor McGuigan (Koob); his wife Madge Coggins; his children, Tim McGuigan of Arkansas City, Sharon Moore (Randy) of Shawnee Kansas and Mark McGuigan (Kelly) of Arkansas City; and his brother Bill McGuigan of Eugene Oregon. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Arkansas City's Sacred Heart School.
