She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Marvin and Minnie Myrtle Pennington; her former husband Frank Ward; her sons, Rev. Ronnie Ward and John Ward; her son-in-law Rod Stoy; and her great grandchild Maya Wells.
She is survived by: her spouse Jesse Franklin Ward; her daughter Patricia Stoy (Kim Stephen) of Arkansas City; and her daughter-in-law Janet Ward of Red Banks, MS. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor, or the Minor Memorial United Methodist Church in Walls, MS. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
