She was predeceased by: her parents, Oran W. Mendell and Frances C. Mendell (Foulk); her husband Richard Hawkins; her children, Roberta Pepper and Jeff Hawkins; her sister Beatrice Mendell; and her nephew Steve Hawkins.
She is survived by: her son Rick Hawkins (Kristine) of Arkansas City; her children-in-law, Jim Pepper of Pampa, TX and Zena Hawkins of Arkansas City; her grandchildren, Melody Peach, Jake Hawkins, Stacey Pepper and Aaron Pepper; her great grandchildren, Grace Donnelly, David Peach and Lyle Pepper; her nephew Doug Hawkins; and her niece Diane Ehling.
A memorial has been established for the Central Christian Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
