It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Duane Dixon (Arkansas City, Kansas), born in Independence, Kansas, who passed away on October 30, 2019, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gary Lee Tallman; his stepfather Kenneth Dixon; his grandparents, Bob, Anne Tallman, Harry and Almeta Turner; his aunt Linda Storey; and his niece Gabrielle Nicole Neary.
He is survived by: his former wife June Williams; his son Michael Kutz; his former wife Lori Whitford of Arkansas City; his friend Lori Whitford of Arkansas City, KS; his children, Mike Kutz, Hannah Dixon of Arkansas City, Kobe Dixon of Emporia, KS, Kaleb Dixon of Arkansas City, KS and Kyler Dixon; his stepsons, Keth Barnes of Ozark, MO and Kurtis Whitford of Winfield, KS; his granddaughter Hope Kutz of Jacksonville, FL; his mother Lois Leann Dixon (Turner) of Lawrence, KS; his stepmother Norma Tallman; his siblings, Christine Repp (Dan) of Howard, KS, Bill Neary of Tampa, FL, Linda Hopkins (Mark) of Lebo, KS, Shawn Neary (Leann) of Neodesha, KS and John Dixon (Tiffany) of Lawrence, KS; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Thompson, Stephanie Thompson, Chelsea Belsan (Joe), Alex Madron, Zach Madron (Chantell), Shana Jager, Sydney Neibolt, Shawn Neary, Ethen Neary, Madison Dixon and Owen Dixon. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers a Memorial fund has been established for his children Kobe and Kyler Dixon's Education Expenses.
