He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin "Mel" Kuhn and Doris Kuhn (McCracken); his former wives, Nancy Underwood and Kathryn "Elizabeth" Kelley; his wife Dina Alden of Arkansas City; his children, Ian Kuhn of Arkansas City, David Schuetz of Wichita, Dustin Schuetz (Lori) of Arkansas City, Michael Kuhn (Jamie) of Arkansas City, Molly Kuhn of Arkansas City and Will Dorrell (Brittney) of Nixa, MO; his siblings, Dana Micklos of Long Island, NY, Peggy Grant (Seth) of Edinburgh, Scotland, Sally Beisty (John) of Philadelphia, PA and Michael Kuhn of San Pedro, Belize; and his grandchildren, Dalton Schuetz, Lacy Kuhn, Kenzie Kuhn, Avery Schuetz, Gavin Schuetz, Addison Kuhn, Jackson Schuetz, Carlie Schuetz, Sophie Schuetz, Michael Kuhn, Preston Dorrell and Carson Dorrell.
A memorial has been established in Mell's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
