It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Laingor of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert E. Kimsey and Pearl I. Kimsey (Rodman); and her great grandchildren, Corbin Rathbun and Kendall Dow. She is survived by: her former spouses, Fred Carter Jr. and Gene Laingor; her children, Linda Boswell of Arkansas City, Scott Carter (Karen) of Bingham Farms, MI and Debra Bailey of Arkansas City; her grandchildren, Dawn Warren (Bryce), Kenny Dow, Lynsey Rathbun (Joshua), Angela Lickly (Shaun), Ross Carter, Austin Trent (Rachel), Emily Alexander (Tom) and Miles Carter (Rachael); her great grandchildren, Devin, Landon, McKenna, Joshua, Kaden, Logan, Ally, KayDee, Tucker, Aurora, Nolan and Quentin; her great great grandchildren, Daxx and Paceson; and her brothers, Vernon Kimsey, Don Kimsey and Albert E. Kimsey Jr..
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
