With solemn reverence, we commemorate Margaret Ann Hearne of Arkansas City, Kansas, whose life came to an end on February 21, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin P. Olvera and Juanita Olvera (Valencia); and her siblings, Antonio "Tony" Olvera, Sofia DiPasqua, Eva Reyez and Gloria Williams.
She is survived by: her husband J. Roger Hearne; her sisters, Henrietta Duran of Pretty Prairie, KS and Rachel Olson (Roger) of Topeka, KS; her daughter Melody Ralston (Brian); her grandchildren, Summer Davis (Shawn) and Devin Ralston; and her great grandchildren, Kai of Illinois, Zoe Davis of Illinois, Raiden of Illinois and Raelyn Ralston of Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (302 S B St, Arkansas City, KS 67005). Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shelley Family Funeral Home (906 W Kansas Ave, Arkansas City, KS 67005).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Arkansas City Senior Citizen's Center, 320 South A St, Arkansas City, KS 67005, or Arkansas City Historic Preservation Board, 118 W Central Ave, Arkansas City, KS 67005.
