It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Ellen Sims of Arkansas City, Kansas, born in Oberlin, Kansas, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Parker and Myrtle Parker (Teter); her spouse Russell M. Sims; her siblings, Loree, David and Charles Parker; and her grandson Josh Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Allan (Janice Sims) of Arkansas City, Mickey (Tim Taylor) of Kaw City, Marsha (Terry Wood) of Cherryvale, Michelle Sims of Idaho Springs and Russell (Vicky Sims) of Arkansas City; her sisters-in-law, Dixie Church and Peggy Parker; her cousin Wilma Meirs; and her grandchildren, Mandy (Gary Miller), Brett (Meghan Sims), Scott (Shalen Taylor), Jason (Kinzey Taylor), Brandy (Matt Gordon), Sam Wood, Matt (Adrienne Shaw), Michael Shaw, Justin (Reagan Jowers), Jennifer (Jake Barfield) and Chris (Heather Jowers). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
