She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Asbury and Jaunita Asbury (Maynard); her husband Andy Newsom; her son John Newsom; her brother Alvin Asbury; and her grandchildren, Madicyn Hill and Zach Rhodes.
She is survived by: her daughter Tamatha; her son-in-law Chris Rhodes; and her grandchildren, Devin, Ashley, Kaylee, Libertie, Allisyn, Summer, Shane, Josiah, Jace and Annie. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the American Red Cross.
