It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Reed of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on May 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Eugene and Nellie Geneve Beals (Poore); her daughter Teresa Parker Byers; her great grandchild Gracyn Oetting; her daughter-in-law Patty Reed; and her siblings, Edgar Beals, Wilsie Chitwood and Virginia Beals.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Johnson (Ky) and Kenny Reed; her grandchildren, Greg Reed (Jennifer), Melissa Oetting (Brad) and Daniel Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Hover (Rod), Doris Arey (Glen) and Joann Bazil. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
