She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauro A. Viramontes and Gabriela C. Viramontes (Chavez); her siblings, Mary Christine (George), Mark and Robert; her parents-in-law, Ramona and George Torrez Sr.; and her nephew Rick Hilario.
She is survived by: her husband George Torrez Jr.; her children, George Torrez (Kami) of Arkansas City and Janean Whitmire (Jeromy) of Wellington; her siblings, Linda Sloan (Drew) of Excelsior Springs, MO, Fred Viramontes (Loretta) of Wellington, Cynthia Rico (Joaquin) of Wellington, Debbie Savala (Alfred) of Arkansas City and Teresa Hanna (Dale) of Ellinwood, KS; her grandchildren, Kaysie, Kieran, Kruz, Brice and Brody; her brother-in-law Melvin Torrez of Arkansas City; and her close friend Freddy Joe Scott of Arkansas City.
