He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wollard and Donna Wollard (Boss); his brother-in-law Col. George Lind; and his stepson Jeff Clark. He is survived by: his children, John Wollard Jr. of Arkansas City, KS and Marylea Burgess (Gordon); his granddaughter Katlynn Miner of Woodward, OK; his great grandchildren, Harlin and Anthony Henderson of Woodward, OK; his grandson Vincent Miner of Ozark, AR; his great grandchild Legend Miner of Ozark, AR; his granddaughter Victoria "Tori" Burgess; his stepdaughter Cheri Dixon (Ryan); his stepgrandchildren, Abigail Feeney (Mykie) and Christopher Warren (Chelsea); his stepdaughter Cari Clark (Alvaro Alonso); his stepgrandsons, Alejandro and Elias Alvaro-Clark; and his siblings, Sharon Lind and Carl Wollard (Jennifer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for John may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.

“Uncle John, I miss your big, caring hands and your laid back attitude. You were never lazy, but truly a very hard worker. You were a brave soldier and I miss seeing you and Sharon together for dinners. I wish we had more time together. Im glad you're in heaven with Grandma and she's probably playing a time for you on her heavenly piano!”
