He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer D. Jarvis and Wilma I. Jarvis (Watson); and his brother Morris W. Jarvis. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mitchell; his children, David G. Jarvis of Arkansas City, James W. Jarvis (Tammy) of Girard, KS, Tiffany M. Jarvis of Lawrence, KS and Kaitlyn M. Post (Dana) of Salina, KS; his stepchildren, Amy D Cirillo (Mike) of Tulsa, OK and David Scott Beasley of Arkansas City; and his sister Mary Ann Harter of Clovis, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family established the John Jarvis Memorial Fund and may be sent to Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
