With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim D. Johnson of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim D. Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Johnson and Pearl A. Johnson (Richie); and his brothers, Elmore Johnson and Leo Johnson (Ann Nell). He is survived by: his wife Betty Wood; his son Rick Johnson (Gayle) of Louisville, CO; and his sister-in-law Lois Johnson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Those attending are required to follow all Covid-19 mandates including the wearing of a mask and social distancing.

A memorial has been established for the Central Christian Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
