It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Thurman of Arkansas City, Kansas, born in Anadarko, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delia and Lee Henderson Thurman; and his siblings, Jessie Jeffries and Leo Thurman. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sweely of Arkansas City; his children, Lana Beth (Mike Fitts) of Duncan, Letha Bauter of Stillwater, Lori Moulton (Marty) of Arkansas City and Lee Thurman of Stillwater Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Delia Gietzen, Jade Weddle, Landes Bauter, Rhett Thurman, Andee Beth Fitts, Abbi Mouton, Daigen Moulton, Lincoln Fitts, Hayden Bauter and Billee Thurman; his great grandchild Daxon Weddle; his sister Nellie Edwards of Anadarko, OK; and his pet Lexi. He is also survived by sister in-law.
Those coming to the service are requested to follow all COVID 19 mandates including social distancing and the wearing of a mask.
