He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kennedy and Kay Kennedy (Eastman). He is survived by: his wife Janet Kennedy; his children, Justin Kennedy (Jennifer) of Meriden and Jennifer Wade (Aaron) of Ozawkie; and his grandchildren, Coltin Wade, Eli Kennedy and Chloe Kennedy. He is also survived by his brothers, aunts, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family has chosen the American Cancer Society as the recipient of all memorials given.
