Jean Hays Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2021, at the age of 93, Jean Hays (Arkansas City, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Winslow and Grace Winslow; her husband Charles "Bud" Hays; her siblings, Don Winslow, Bernice Shreve, Dorothy Jobe and Betty Norman; and her grandson Shawn Schellenger.
She is survived by: her children, Ross "Ed" Hays (Rhonda) of Rose Hill and Jean Hays (Jim Cross) of Wichita; her stepchildren, Mike Hays (Linda) of San Diego and Linda Reeves of Van Buren, AR; and her grandchildren, Rachel Cross, Amanda Hays, Roger Hays and Shelby Schellenger.
Those attending are required to follow all Covid-19 mandates including the wearing of a mask and social distancing.
A memorial has been established for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
