It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Kay Jackson of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop J. Barnes and Stella L. Jackson (Hollins); and her daughter Tracey Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Ishia Jackson of Arkansas City, James Jackson of Winfield and Frederick Jackson (Tanya Gates) of Winfield; her sisters, Vicki Jackson of Arkansas City and Joyce Lott of Oxford, KS; and her half-siblings, Cyrus Barnes, Jarade Barnes and Claire Miller. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Janice Jackson Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
