He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Childs and Mattie "Irene" Childs (Stone). He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Janet (Darrell Rogers) of Olathe, Clint Childs of Boynton, Lynn (Jason Hensley) of Arkansas City and Brad Childs (Jess Chilcote) of Arkansas City; his sister Jeanette (Arland Barker) of Parkerfield; and his grandchildren, Amanda Evinger, Kayla Childs, Jesse Hensley, Zeke Hensley, Austin Hensley, Chayna Childs, Xavier Childs and Daphne Childs. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the charity of the giver's choice.
