It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Izola Mae Schoonover (Arkansas City, Kansas), born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Epperly and Mary Jane Epperly (Davis); her husband Dolph Schoonover; her daughter Mary Jane Kipp; and her siblings, Barbara Smith, Glenn, Kenneth, Richard and Charles Epperly.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Schoonover of Wilson, OK; her grandchildren, Shelly Schoonover of Ardmore, OK, Mike Schoonover (Jennifer) of Mullhall, OK and Adam Kipp (Stephanie) of Solana Beach, CA; her great grandchildren, DarShell, Shelby, Willie, Garrett and Avery; and her siblings, Ralph Epperly, Robert "Bob" Epperly and Iwana Whittenburg. She is also survived by 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Arkansas City Senior Citizens Center. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
