He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Trent and Helen Trent (Hanson); his wife Margaret Dempsey; his siblings, Donald, Donna (Oleson) and Hazel "Peggy" (Hadicke); his son-in-law Roger "Biff" Chase; and his great grandchild Spencer Chase.
He is survived by: his children, Shelby Trent Pappan Chase (Rick Eastman) of Arkansas City, David Trent (Traci) of Arkansas City and Dirk Trent (Jennifer) of Austin, TX.. He is also survived by ses 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A memorial has been established in Lloyd's name for the American Diabetes Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
