With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon Fry of Arkansas City, Kansas, born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Fry and Ruth Fry (Carr); his wife Violet Anderson; and his brother Joe Fry. He is survived by: his children, James Fry (Deb), Aaron Fry (Anita) and Arneda Shelton (Bob); his grandchildren, AJ Fry (Theresa), Michael Shelton, Jacob Fry (Amber), Matthew Fry (Brooke), Jeffrey Shelton, Micah Fry (Ruy Vaz) and Nathan Fry; and his great grandchildren, Lena Fry, Wesley Fry, Jolene Fry and Gio Vaz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arkansas City Scout Troop 328, donations may be left in care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home.
