With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Francis Matney (Arkansas City, Kansas), born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 10, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Shierrey and Opal Shierrey (McAninch); and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her former spouse Jimmie Ray Matney; her daughters, Jamie Matney of Arkansas City, Jennie (Danny Steelman) of Arkansas City and Jennifer (Dale Koster) of Colorado; her grandchildren, Casey (Rich Zavala), Corey Steelman, Jessica and Sarah Koster; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Sean and Gwen.
A memorial has been established with the American Macular Degeneration Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
