She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard James and Pauline James (Norman); and her siblings, Ernest, Kenneth James, Rosemary Jackson and Annie Patterson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard, Elgin James, Loretta Burkes and Betty Works; and her children, Anthony (Shantel Bell), Wanda Hickles and Renee Davis. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
