She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Hernandez and Rafala Hernandez (Ramirez); her husband Alfred Garcia; and her children, Arthur Garcia, Ruben Garcia and Shirley Tapia.
She is survived by: her son Alfred Garcia, Jr. (Mary) of Arizona; her family Alexander Garcia (Vivian) of Arkansas City; her daughter Teresa Krusor (Mark) of Winfield; her son-in-law John Tapia of Winfield; and her siblings, Bonifacio Hernandez of California, Joe Hernandez of Wichita and Toni Hall of Arkansas City.
A memorial has been established in Filomena's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
