He was predeceased by: his parents, Mid VanSchuyver and Eura VanSchuyver (Perren) of Wanette, OK.; and his brothers, Wayland and Bill (Joyce). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Marie Burkhart; his siblings, Sue Goodnight, Robert and David; his sons, Russell VanSchuyver (Mary Kelly) and Tony VanSchuyver (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Kyle Turner, Cory Turner (Samantha), Camron VanSchuyver (Alexia), Casey VanSchuyver, Hannah Rose (Matt), Blair VanSchuyver, Amy Valbuena (Michael), Amber VanSchuyver (Ariel), Tirzah Alexander and Claire Collins. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Arkansas City Recreation Commission Little League Sports. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
