He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kahm and Agnes Yingling Kahm (Allard); his wife Nancy Pauline Hockenbury; and his siblings, Dorothy Cochran, Timmy Yingling and Bobby Yingling.

He is survived by: his son Douglas Lee Kahm, Jr. (Twilla); his sister Helen Scott; his grandchildren, Denica Kahm, Michael Kahm and Nicholas Kahm (Sheyann); his great grandchildren, Leytti and Tripp; his foster son Curtis Littrell; his grandson Stephen Butler; and also Sue Meyer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association; donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
