He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert C. Demaree and Isabel R. Demaree (Lohkamp); his sister Debbie Fox; his siblings-in-law, Roger Fox and Shirley Demaree; and his brother Doyle Demaree.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Darland; his children, Jessica Morgan (Michael), Ashley Demaree, Carson Stalnaker and Chase Demaree (Hannah); his grandchildren, Kyce of Arkansas City, Kale of Arkansas City, Elliot of Arkansas City, Ethan Morgan of Arkansas City, Avery of Arkansas City, Max Wilson of Arkansas City, Alex Stalnaker of Arkansas City, Natalie of Arkansas City and Reece Demaree of Arkansas City; and his brothers, Dale Demaree (Patricia) of Olathe, KS, Don Demaree (Diana) of Wichita, KS, Dennis Demaree (Keri) of San Antonio, TX and Delbert Demaree (Christi) of Winfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Doug's name to the Arkansas City Recreation Commission. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
