He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor A. LaVelle and Bessie B. LaVelle (Brandon); his wife Phyllis Kraxberger; his sister Lela Snively; and his granddaughter Allison Luree Frick.
He is survived by: his children, Gary LaVelle (Robbie) of Bridge Creek, OK, Deanne Splechter (John) of Arkansas City, KS and Grant LaVelle (Anissa) of Carl Junction, MO; his grandchildren, Aubrey Baker, Allen Carter (Heather), Evan LaVelle, Kerri Wolf, Andrew Splechter (Kathryn), Lily Long (Jason), Ariel Webb (Kevin), Ashley Weece (Justin), Emily, Ean and Erik LaVelle; and his great grandchildren, Matylin, Emma, Paisley, Garrison Baker, Caris, Avalyn Carter, Landyn, Kayden Frick, Jasmine, Kiera, Emmett Wolf, Lucy Webb and Easton Splechter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws and friends.
