It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Yvonne Oestmann of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence T. Fleming and Eleanor L. Fleming (Bigbee); her son Eric; her brother Darrel; and her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Oestmann and Kim Oestmann.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert Oestmann; her daughter Lanetta Burdette (David) of Cambridge, KS; her siblings, Larry Fleming (Pat) and Jody Rahn (Raymond) of Arkansas City; her grandchildren, Curtis Burdette of Grainola, OK and Braden Burdette (Abbey) of Latham, KS; her great grandchildren, Bronc and Ridge Burdette; and her siblings-in-law, Duane Oestmann (Pattie) of Arkansas City, Marlin Oestmann (Debbie) of Arkansas City and Comilla Jomp (Gerald) of Wilson, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
