She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred A. Kappel and Marguerite Kappel (Yarnold); and her husband Walter. She is survived by: her son Kurt Mathiasmeier of Sanford, FL; her sister Mary Curless of Arkansas City; her grandchildren, Bailey and Grady Mathiasmeier of Casselberry, FL; her nephew Justin Curless (Sammi) of Austin, TX; her uncle Lue Yarnold (Rama) of Wichita, KS; her cousins, Greg Yarnold (Jen) and Doug Schneider (Gilah) of Arvada, CO.; and also Will of Wichita, KS.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
