With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Elizabeth Townsend of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on May 20, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Bilyeu and Nancy F. Langdale (Artherton); and her husband Byron Townsend. She is survived by: her children, Patrick Townsend (Emily) of Sinclair, WY and Amy Townsend-Goad (Scott) of Arkansas City; her sisters-in-law, Dyanna Lawson (Nat) of Aledo, TX and Joanie Johnson of Dennison, TX; her grandchildren, Savannah, Alexis, Bryce, Dylan Townsend, Taytum, Aidan Aldridge, Maddie Osburn (Eric), Bailee and Brylee Goad; and her great grandchildren, Kaden and Fern. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Cheryl Townsend Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
