We are sad to announce that on August 8, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Charles R Watson (Arkansas City, Kansas), born in Shawnee, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Watson and Marguerite B. Scholes Watson (Scholes); and his stepmother Eva Brewer Watson. He is survived by: his children, Julie Pease (Steve) of Geneva, IL, Dick Watson Jr. (Julie) of Mt. Morris, IL, Merri Lea Metcalf (Craig) of Cary, NC and Teresa Watson of Chapel Hill, NC; and his siblings, Robert (Ursula) of Durham, NC and Bena Harper of Stillwater, OK. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Arkansas City United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
