He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Delbert and Joyce Jackson; his great-grandparents, Jimmy and Kattie Miller; his great-aunt Rita Farley; and his cousins, T. Simpson and Terry Davison.
He is survived by: his parents, Ashley Jackson and Freida Jackson (Miller); his son James Dean Jackson; his pets, Band Man and Roe; his sister Cheyenne Porter; his nieces, Areiana Gatewood and Aubriana Faith; his nephew Felix Porter Jr.; and his grandmother Shirley Miller.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home and Crematory (100 E Kansas Ave, Arkansas City, KS 67005). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church (3125 N Summit St, Arkansas City, KS 67005).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the James Dean Jackson Education Fund or the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
