With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Speer (Arkansas City, Kansas), born in Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on February 3, 2019 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kathy; his grandparents, Bunt, Lois Speer and Charles "Mac" McMillan; and his aunt Susan Wolfe (Speer).
He is survived by: his father Ralph Speer; his stepmother Susan of Arkansas City; his brother Mike (Melissa Speer) of Wichita; his sons, Peyton, John and Britney Base (Brad) of Hesston; his stepsister Sarah Bryant (Ricky Johnson); his children, Mick Bryant and Aubrey Johnson of Arkansas City; his grandmother Betty McMillan; his aunts, Lisa Thompson of Wellington and Debbie Frazee of Wellington; his uncle Mitch Speer; his stepfather Keith "Skip" Tolles of Arkansas City; and also Tysana Devore.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Cowley County Humane Society and can be made through the funeral home.
