With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Lou Smith of Arkansas City, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on June 17, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Francis Elizabeth Becker (Hoppe); her husband Mike Smith; and her siblings, Marilyn Girrens, Karen McNeal, Bill and Robert Becker.
She is survived by: her children, Traci Oberlechner of Arkansas City and Alan (Traci Girrens) of Wichita; her stepson Dirk (Nancy Smith) of Texas; her grandchildren, Erica (Shawn Winkler), Jake Oberlechner and Brandon Girrens; her stepgrandchildren, Ashley and Cameron Smith; and her great grandchildren, Owen and Brody Winkler.
A memorial has been established with the Sacred Heart Catholic School. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
