He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin and Bessie Franklin (Osburn). He is survived by: his wife Eunice M. Looney; his children, Randy, Diane Franklin of Enid, OK, Ron Franklin of Arkansas City, Cheryl and Steve Post of Arkansas City; his brothers, Wayne of Oregon, John of Oregon and Al Franklin of Oregon; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Amiee, Lesliee, Geoff (Danielle), Christi and Tara (Joel).
A memorial has been established in his name for the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association.
