Betty Jane Elrod Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Elrod of Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey D. Junkens and Mary E. Junkens (Varner); her husbands, Kenneth Dawes and Buck Elrod; and her children, Joe and Connie.

She is survived by: her children, Kenny Dawes (Linda) of Cushing, OK, Kathy Rogers (Bob) of Oklahoma City, Glennyce Davis (Bob) of Yale, OK, Joyce Kisner (Danny) of Parkerfield, KS, Kay Lynn Smith (Bret) of Ponca City, OK and Mary Morse (Mack) of Ponca City, OK. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund or Kindred Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
