We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Louise Hunt of Arkansas City, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Ivan Upson; her husband Donald "Don" Walter Hunt; her mother Millie Upson (Millie); and her brother Don Upson. She is survived by: her sons, David Hunt (Kayleen) of Platteville, CO, Steve Hunt (Mary) of Liberty, MO, Brian Hunt (Marty) of LaCygne, KS and Stan Hunt of Dallas, TX; her sister Janice Miller (Jim) of Arkansas City, KS; and her sister-in-law Jean Upson Fields. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will not be holding a memorial service due to COVID-19 concerns and the desire to keep family and friends safe.

Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

“I was so sorry to read of Barbara's death. She was such a sweet, caring person. I knew her and her husband Don for many years through the Wifani Sunday School class at First Baptist Church. Then I was privileged to be able to do some in-home assistance for Don and Barbara for several months before Don passed away. I will always remember how Barbara always made a point to let me know she cared about me. My prayers go out to the family in this time of loss.”
