It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ethelyn Hesket (Arkansas City, Kansas), born in Yates Center, Kansas, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Robert and Harriet Elizabeth Harding (Fitch); her husband Donald Vernon Hesket; her son Edward Kent Hesket; and her siblings, Herbert Harding, Florence Meadows and Pauline Baber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry L. Whitfield (George) of Winfield and Carol W. Brown (Philip) of Arkansas City; her grandchildren, Stephanie Murphy (Mike) of Pooler, Georgia, Janelle Logan (Nickolous), John Post (Kristina) of Andover, Evan Brown and Ethan Brown (Charron) of Winnsboro; her stepgrandchildren, Christopher Whitfield (Roxanna) of McKinney and Amy File (Jerad) of Mulberry Grove; her great grandchildren, Celia Murphy, Bryson Post, Eily Logan, Charlotte Logan, Israel Brown and Lydia Brown; her stepgrandchildren, Katherine Whitfield, Eleanor Whitfield, Jeri Adele File, Amanda File and Joshua File; and her siblings, Jennabelle Crow and Robert Harding (Madeline).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Slate Valley Baptist Church, donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
