He is survived by: his wife Becky Maddox; his children, Kerisa Brown (Kris), Daniel Maddox and Aaron Maddox; his stepchildren, April Johnson (Brian), Casey Gobel (Bri) and Cody Gobel; and his siblings, David, Debbie Matthews (Billy), Cheryl Hubbard (Terry), Carol Swaney (Bret) and Sharon Thompson (Tim). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
