We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2023, at the age of 87, Mike W. Wolfe of Andover, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wolfe and Leeo Wolfe (Ryan); his daughter-in-law Kim Blackwell; his grandson Lucas Lee; and his brother-in-law Billy Trickett.

He is survived by: his friend Larry; his wife Beth Wolfe; his children, Terri King (Jeff), Karen Whitaker (Brad), Susie Lee (Kevin), Steve Blackwell (Kelma) and Tim Blackwell; his grandchildren, Alex King, Katie Whitaker, Mollie Whitaker, Jack Whitaker, Dr. Kathryn Wolfe, Jon Wolfe, Jess Lee, Olivia Hildebrand (Matthew), Kyle Blackwell (Rachael), Ashley Blackwell (Chris Thomas), Krista Webster (Jason), Kayla Blackwell, Jackie Blackwell, Samantha Blackwell and Austin Blackwell; his sister Reba Trickett; his sister-in-law Dr. Donna Sweet; and his nephews, Jim Trickett and Al Craig. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mike's memory can be made to Cherokee Nation Education Corporation, 800 Muskogee Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464.

“Mike was, above all else, a "good man". As administrators in Haysville, I especially remember the three summers training to be trainers at UCLA with Mike and Larry. I'm not sure they always appreciated the extended culinary training I provided on my nights to choose the restaurant, "Head to Yellow Pages and find some food I had never eaten before!" From the music learned/shared to the parties and visits enjoyed, we will miss our lifelong friend. --Rod & Rhonda Allen”
