She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elmer and Nona Grace Young (Herndon); her daughter Jackie Ford; and her siblings, Nola, Joyce, Jewell, Florence, Marcella, George, Verlin, Melvin and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Brown; her children, Virgil Snider of Wichita, Rebecca Snider-Law (Bill) of Wichita, Mary Snider of Wichita and Tammy Sherman (Basil) of Haysville; her stepchildren, Nancy Carter of Sebastopol, CA and Ed Brown (Susan) of Tucker, GA; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Jason, Todd, Corey, Matthew, Thaddeus, Tabitha, Lara, Michael, George and Basil II. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
