He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Opal Hardesty and Leo Hardesty; and his siblings, Cecil Hardesty, David Hardesty, Gary Hardesty and Patsy Sutton.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Lee of Andover, Kansas; his daughters, Toni Halverson (David) of Rose Hill and Jennifer Leibovitz (Brian McConnell) of Andover; his grandchildren, Brittany Bell (Nelson Nieves), Garrett Leibovitz (Vanessa) and Jacob Leibovitz; his stepgrandchildren, Jami Halverson, Kolton McConnell and Bailey McConnell; his great grandchildren, Alaia Nieves and Chloe Leibovitz; his sisters, Audrey Hall of Pensacola, Joyce Montes of Salina and Beverly Garay (Refugio) of Salina, Kansas; his sister-in-law Jewell Hardesty of Pueblo, Colorado; and his aunt Freda Vogan of Salina, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
